Christmas Cards

”Tis the season for Christmas cards! One of my favorite parts about Christmas is giving and receiving fun cards during the holiday season. I love seeing everyone else’s card, it brings me so much joy!

We used Maggie Tait Photography {she’s awesome!} and decided to take our pictures outside in Anchorage. The leaves were falling and it was a beautiful fall day.

For the cards I went with Vistaprint again this year {hello discounts!} I usually search by number of pictures and I like to put “Merry Christmas” on the card so I narrow it down and find my favorite. Vistaprint is offering 50% off cards right now with code “bestgifts” so if you haven’t ordered yours yet – you still have time!

My outfit is from Work The Metal and boots are Steve Madden (from a few years ago) similar here. Shop my jewelry online at Sincerely Quinley {dot} com!

Blue Checked

Casual comfort is key for summer. This top from H&M looks great with shorts, tied over a bikini, or paired with white jeans and a statement necklace. I paired the blue checked shirt with these shorts from Target and these shoes by Sperry. One of my favorite things to do is pop in TjMaxx to scour the shoes along with the HomeGoods section. I scored these Sperry sliders a couple of weeks ago for a great price and I knew I had to get them! They are offered in a variety of colors and each one has their own style.

A summer stack – the pineapple bangle in yellow ($32), monogram bangle in Pearl ($32), quatrefoil bangle in turquoise ($20), and quatrefoil bangle in Pearl ($25) are all available for purchase via Instagram / Sincerely Quinley. As my site is under construction remember the shoppable pictures on Instagram & Facebook are still available. Simply comment with email to order or send a Direct Message or Message on Facebook

HELLO world! I’m back to blogging and I hope I’ll stick to a schedule this time so I don’t get caught up in the busyness and forget. So here goes…

I am loving this all blue look for a casual day outfit and these shoes are everything! I’m going to wear them all summer long-I can feel it. Old Navy is having a great sale *today only* with 30% off purchase using code “BENEFITS”. These cute mint sandals are the perfect find and pair well with jeans or a dress + the color goes with everything! I’ve already worn this top several times. It is a great piece to wear with athlesure styles or dress it up with fun shoes and light jeans like I did here. Both necklaces + the bracelets are available for purchase via email @ sincerelyquinley@gmail.com or through my instagram.

Everyday Basics

Whenever I see a top like this one I snatch it up quick. This taupe top can be worn as a tunic with leggings or as a top with jeans. I chose a casual look for running errands in my new boyfriend jeans from Style Revel and tassel necklace and bangles by yours truly { 😉 }. The top, from Ellie Clothing, is going to be your new favorite. I can’t wait to see how i’ll incorporate it into my closet- it fits like a dream.

Snow is Falling

The Alabama girl in me will always be a little giddy when I wake up to snow covered yards. I can’t seem to grasp this new normal for us in Louisville, KY. Being here a year has taught me that waking up to snow comes more frequently and I better be ready for it. I’ve been waiting to bust out these Sperry Boots – I bought them a while back knowing I would get plenty of use this winter (and I am!). My vest and top are old from Ellie and my necklace and bangles can be found on my etsy page under the “shop” tab on my website! Click Here to view.

Stay warm and cozy my friends, it’s 8* here today. I’m serious.

Fashionable Under $50

Depending on your style preferences one thing remains constant for the majority of us out there: we love a great deal. I personally love the style choices of an affordable shop. Today I’m talking about Ellie. Yes I used to work there and obviously it’s my favorite boutique, BUT when you can find great styles that look like they cost over $100 and can snag them for under $50 it’s a win win.

A scalloped detail is the perfect accent for this faux suede dress. A yummy camel color looks rich and luxurious yet it’s super affordable. Dress it up with heels and loads of accessories. Or- dress it down with a wool hat, chunky heels and bangles galore. PS: this hat is marked to $14 right now!

See how I styled it below + tell me about your favorite fashionable finds under $50!

Prepping for Fall

I went on a little shopping spree and found some great items that I know I will enjoy for a long, long time. I can’t wait until fall to wear these so I’ve incorporated them into my summer wear + gathered inspiration via Pinterest. Who else loves Pintest?! It’s the best…. Sort of like hoarding without people actually thinking you’ve gone mad. You can follow my personal Pinterest page here.

First I got this soft lightweight jacket at TJMaxx. It’s a beautiful grey color and has a drawstring waist. I love jackets like these because you can wear them now with shorts and booties and into the cooler months with dresses+leggings, skinnies+tall boots… Lots of options.

Next up I went cray cray at Old Navy – I love the grey sweater, black boyfriend top, green bag and tank (pictured under jacket). I didn’t get a picture of my pantsuit (on sale!) but I plan on wearing it with this grey cardigan – SOON!

PS Old Navy and TJMaxx are favorites of mine because their style doesn’t break the bank. What’s better than that?

July 4th Weekend

I hope everyone is recovering from the long holiday weekend. This week will be a little bit harder (especially today! Blah Monday’s) because the July 4th weekend is now behind us.

I spent the weekend at the Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration in Crescent Hill. This was my first arts and crafts show and I had a blast! I met great people, sold my handmade jewelry to the community, and had an overall great weekend.

As we all know, this holiday weekend was not about watermelon, cook outs, red white and blue outfits and fireworks but rather about the freedom we all share because we live in the greatest country in the world. Because the great men and women who’ve laid their lives down and the ones who continue to serve this great nation- we stand and thank you for your service.

Yesterday at church we sang and worshiped while honoring those who’ve fought and lost their lives, those who fought in the past and those who are currently serving. It brought a tear to my eye because the red white and blue, the patriotic songs, the feeling of knowing we live in a free country. But freedom isn’t free, so thank someone for their service when you see them. Speak up about your faith and speak out about the God who is holy and almighty. Some people in other places don’t have that option.

We ended our weekend watching the Women’s Soccer Team take the victory over Japan. What a great game and an awesome win to keep the patriotic feelings flowing. Hope everyone has a happy, productive and wonderful week. Talk soon!
