Leopard Lovin’

I love a great leopard print, don’t you? I’m a sucker for this print so when I saw this dress I knew I had to have it! It’s the perfect piece for pregnancy because I can grow into it with leggings or jeggings – like these from H&M or wear it as a dress after baby is born!

Keeping It Cool and Casual

The weather is constantly changing during winter so I’ve stocked up on basics for maternity wear that I can layer AND wear after pregnancy! This top fits the bill for casual, cute, great for layering, and perfect to wear after delivery. Yes please! (Plus, it’s on sale!)

I have continued wearing these jeans by Jessica Simpson throughout pregnancy with the help of my belly band (life.saver.!) To keep with the casual look I wore these shoes by Clarks that I scored at Blue Ribbon Shoes in Decatur, AL (my hometown). Get this – shoes at this store are about 70% off of retail and it’s a gold mine for shoe lovers! If you ever get the chance to stop in, do it!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week! We’re at 32 weeks this week and I am getting so so so excited for Halle!

Casual Layers

Let’s be honest for a second, this is my go-to uniform every day. These wedges are as comfortable as flats and my layering top is perfect for just $14.99! I wear these leggings all of the time! The distressed color looks great with light colors like this cardigan and simple accessories. Ultra comfortable is was I’m all about these days! Check out that baby bump (18 weeks last week!)

Everyday Basics

Whenever I see a top like this one I snatch it up quick. This taupe top can be worn as a tunic with leggings or as a top with jeans. I chose a casual look for running errands in my new boyfriend jeans from Style Revel and tassel necklace and bangles by yours truly { 😉 }. The top, from Ellie Clothing, is going to be your new favorite. I can’t wait to see how i’ll incorporate it into my closet- it fits like a dream.

Prepping for Fall

I went on a little shopping spree and found some great items that I know I will enjoy for a long, long time. I can’t wait until fall to wear these so I’ve incorporated them into my summer wear + gathered inspiration via Pinterest. Who else loves Pintest?! It’s the best…. Sort of like hoarding without people actually thinking you’ve gone mad. You can follow my personal Pinterest page here.

First I got this soft lightweight jacket at TJMaxx. It’s a beautiful grey color and has a drawstring waist. I love jackets like these because you can wear them now with shorts and booties and into the cooler months with dresses+leggings, skinnies+tall boots… Lots of options.

Next up I went cray cray at Old Navy – I love the grey sweater, black boyfriend top, green bag and tank (pictured under jacket). I didn’t get a picture of my pantsuit (on sale!) but I plan on wearing it with this grey cardigan – SOON!

PS Old Navy and TJMaxx are favorites of mine because their style doesn’t break the bank. What’s better than that?

Love + Thanks for Reading,

Boho Flair

I did a happy dance when I put on these jeans! Who knew wide leg jeans could be so fun? With my wide hips and big butt I didn’t think these jeans would be for me but alas I found a pair that work. Flying Monkey is the brand (super affordable and easy fit!) from Ellie Clothing. These aren’t on the site but you can order from their Instagram page. I just ordered ANOTHER pair in light wash so I’ll have to post when they arrive!!

I’m very into the boho look these days because the effortless style is so easy to pull off. I’m a sucker for neutrals and most boho type clothing fits that bill so it’s a perfect fit for me.

This weekend I’m checking out a few new restaurants and hoping to check out the Arts and Crafts show in Butchertown because I want to do a few art shows this year for my jewelry! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thanks for reading!!

Sweater Weather Is Here

This weekend was all about catching up on a little relaxation, quality time, football and bangle orders. Friday we carved pumpkins with the neighbors (I did a hashtag, loved it) and the cool fall air finally hit Alabama! So, I threw on this chunky knit fringe sweater I’ve been dying to wear and paired it with my burgundy/wine color wool floppy hat and camel boots.

I hope you had a great weekend too. Just four short days until we head to Charleston, SC and I can’t wait.

The Best-A Vest

When I love something I love it a LOT. Take a fall staple for example – the vest. I love them. Quilted, patterned, faux fur, faux leather, shearling, you name it, I probably have one/want one. I am certifiably obsessed.

A few weekends ago I spent a little quality time with mom and we had a fun filled day of shopping, eating, talking (plus I went to an awesome Gemology show, I’m a bead dork). On our day of fun we hit up H&M which is one of my favorites because I can always find something I like (and get tons of use out of and it’s affordable) Win win situation for me! I found this great white button down top that fits perfectly and goes with everything! Layered, worn with leggings, or in my case today-with a vest. I love when I get lots of use out of the same item… It’s more bang for my buck. Re work your items and see what all you can do with it. You’ll love them a little more and more each time. I promise.

This vest was a purchase from ellieclothing recently and I’ve already worn it a few times. Once with leopard shorts and booties when we had a hot fall day, today layered with a crisp white shirt and dark skinnies.

I threw on a little arm candy to finish off my neutral-vest-fall-obsessed outfit and I must admit, a little arm candy goes a long way. How fabulous are these pieces?? Made by yours truly.

I hope everyone had a relaxed, rejuvenated and wonderful weekend. We are resting and getting ready for the busy week ahead. Thanks so much for reading.

Animal Print + A New Phone

Today I’m sporting an old favorite, this animal print top in Black and Tan. I’ve mixed the look with camel skinnies, my favorite black booties and of course, Sincerely Quinley bangles.

I have also ordered a super cute new phone case that I am hoping comes in this week so I can add it to my new phone. My current iPhone 5 is broken and its a royal PAIN! For those of you with the iPhone 6, do you like it?

Have a great rest of your week!

Neutrals Aren’t Boring

I’m a sucker for neutrals and I love mixing black, white, nude and gold into my wardrobe. Think neutrals are boring? Think again. I’ve mixed materials in my “Outfit Of The Day” with a heavy wool-mix cardigan, breezy polka dot tank, light wash jeans and flat booties. A mix of materials, neutrals and textures will always give you a look you’ll love time and time again. neutrals
