Nursery Reveal

Since we are quickly (insert tears) approaching the two month mark since our lives completely changed for the better and our daughter was born, I figured now is the time to have her nursery reveal. I have had so many questions about her nursery and somehow between the late night feedings and constant diaper changes (#newborn life) I have not been able to respond to everyone’s questions! I wanted to do a full post on the nursery and have been meaning to get this up for weeks, so here I am holding Halle while I type this because it is so hard to put her down-she is just too precious!

Camo and Ripped Jeans

Casual wear with heels- one of my favorite combos. I paired this camo t shirt from Target with ripped boyfriend jeans from Style Revel. These jeans and T paired with heels take this casual look from frumpy to fabulous. Shoes are from Blu Boutique and I LOVE them!

We just got to the beach last night and I have already had a delicious meal, coffee overlooking the ocean this morning, and now I am headed out to to enjoy the Florida sun. Have a great weekend!!

Stripes and Layers

Last week I made a pit stop back in Alabama for a few days and of course had to hit Ellie Boutique up first thing. Because, first things first people.

I picked up this black and white dress (light weight, breathable, flattering and comfortable-win.win!) also, the fact that it’s black and white stripes NO BRAINER! Paired with this vest from Nordstrom Rack this little get up is right up my alley for a causal weekend outfit (what I wore Saturday actually) and the pieces mix so well with everything in my closet.

One of my current craves has to be these crystal layering necklaces that I’m wearing here in black, silver, AND white. You can mix and match the necklaces {$40 each, by the way} and also, they look great as a wrap bracelet. This is defintely one of my new favorite designs I’ve been selling as of late. To hop on the bandwagon click here.

In other exciting news I am reworking my website to include all items + the blog in a one stop shop that hopefully you will love! Stay tuned!

Black Ripped Jeans

It’s September and Labor Day is behind us.  I am officially PUMPED for boots, oversized sweaters, scarves and beautiful fall weather. Since we moved out of the deep south it will be wonderful to experience a true fall (Alabama doesn’t do fall – just summer.winter.summer.repeat). We have a few fun activities planned for the fall and I can hardly wait for pretty days and changing colors.

I bought these jeans and this top during the Old Navy sale last week. The top is so great (and under $15!) so I bought it in black too! The basis for fall for me include booties, skinnies, an oversized top and a tassel necklace. The reason I love fall and winter is because your go-to “uniform” is the easiest when you have your basics down. Mix it up with jewelry and you’ll always have it together!

I don’t know about you but I am all about a good buy. I love the feeling I get when I score a deal and on something that I know I’ll use time and time again. TargetH&MZappos/Outlet!, they are sure bets to get you a little more bang for you buck. Why does this matter? Wallet savers and budget friendly buys let you explore your style without making you feel like you dropped way to much cash on clothing.

Don’t get me wrong, I splurge every now and then. My top splurges are usually on a great bag, new watch or a pair of sunglasses. All items I can incorporate again and again with different outfits, seasons, and styles.

I found this adorable green dress at H&M. $12.95?? Are you kidding me? It’s so great because with just the right touch it can be dressy or casual. I need more dresses like this in my life because let’s be honest- it gets wayyyy to hot in the south during the summer. Paired with this darling belt from Target and pumps from Zappos (outlet saved me 50% off of an already great price of $49.99). To top off the dressier styling of this new dress I paired a few of my handmade bangles and gold watch making the accessories do all of the talking.
