Since we are quickly (insert tears) approaching the two month mark since our lives completely changed for the better and our daughter was born, I figured now is the time to have her nursery reveal. I have had so many questions about her nursery and somehow between the late night feedings and constant diaper changes (#newborn life) I have not been able to respond to everyone’s questions! I wanted to do a full post on the nursery and have been meaning to get this up for weeks, so here I am holding Halle while I type this because it is so hard to put her down-she is just too precious!
Well, 31 weeks down! 9 more to go. It is crazy to think that as much as I have fallen in love with this little girl in my belly, my heart will grow exponentially more when she is born. We cannot wait to see her, hold her, and see her grow!
This past weekend our family threw us two baby showers – one on Saturday (my side of the family) and one on Sunday (Luke’s side of the family). We felt ALL of the love and on the way home Sunday all we could do was smile and thank God for blessing us with wonderful parents, families, and friends. Truly, we are so lucky and we count our families as a HUGE blessing in our lives and Halle’s.
I wore two different maternity looks this weekend (more on my Saturday look tomorrow). This dress from Asos maternity was a great fit, style, and I felt like my belly really popped in it! I am glad to be out of the “is she? or isn’t she?” stage of pregnancy. There is no denying the bump is there and I love it! I ordered a size 6 which was a little big in the waist area but fit perfectly through the bust and hip area. My shoes are Jessica Simpson and I scored them at TJMaxx but you can still find them on Amazon in a variety of colors!
It’s Monday which means we are all back on the grind. Monday’s are easy when you have a few pieces you are always turning to in your closet, like these jeans for me. Lately I have been wearing them with everything and I love the versatility! I bought these last year at Old Navy so I’ve linked similar styles below (same price point). Basics are always a good idea! So here’s to a basic Monday with a pep in your step!
It is getting chilly in KY and i’m layering on anything and everything these days. This vest from Ellie has been getting lots of wear lately and the ribbed top (from ellie too!) is a comfy option to pair underneath. What i’m LOVING are these new booties I just got from Old Navy. They are a greenish/beige “olive” color and I think the color is great to wear with anything. My cuffed jeans are on repeat as well because the dark color and distressed look pairs perfectly with all of my booties. You guessed it, they are from Ellie as well.
